Obituary for Veryl A. Radley

Funeral services for Veryl A. Radley, 84, who moved to Gardnerville two months ago, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Day Spring Christian Assembly in Gardnerville.

Viewing will be from 1 to 3 p.m. today at Walton's Douglas County Mortuary in Minden.

Mr. Radley died Dec. 11, 2002, in Gardnerville. He was born Nov. 27, 1918, in Rockwell City, Iowa.

He was a World War II veteran and served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Radley lived in Victorville, Calif., for 19 years before moving to Gardnerville.

Among his survivors are his wife, Mary of Gardnerville; daughters Jeanette Frazier of Victorville and Betty Hendon and Pat Simmons both of Gardnerville; sisters Jean Thomas of Mesa, Ariz., and Maxine Hiatt of North Dakota; 13 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.

Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
