Irene W. Gilbert, 84, a Wadsworth resident, died Jan. 6, 2002, at Carson Convalescent Center. She was born July 25, 1917, to William L. and Margaret Sloan Wiedmaier in Portland, Ore.
She moved to Nevada at an early age and last worked in downtown Reno as a cashier for the United Artists Majestic Theater.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn G. of Wadsworth in 1991.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law David and Carole Gilbert of Fallon.
Cremation will be at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
