Obituary - Gary Lee Gledhill

A chapel service for Gary Lee Gledhill, 68, a Yuba City, Calif., resident, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel in Marysville, Calif., with the Rev. Alvin Jolley officiating.

Mr. Gledhill died Jan. 23, 2002 at his home. He was born Sept. 29, 1933, in Yuba City, Calif.

Before returning to Yuba City, he lived in Carson City for 25 years.

Mr. Gledhill worked as a communication technician for 34 years. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America of Carson City and Reno. He was inducted into the Old Timers Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001 and he was an avid runner.

Among his survivors are his son Stephen O. of Marysville; daughters Gayle Lynn Haining of Yuba City and Susan Patricia Aberasturi of Marysville; brother Jack of Stockton, Calif.; sister Janet Enright of Folsom, Calif.; mother Shirley of Marysville, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the chapel on from 2-8 p.m. today.
