Sheriff's Blotter

The following people were taken into custody by the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

-- Jesse Carl Stowers, 22, of Tracy, Calif., an automotive painter, was arrested at 9:50 a.m. Friday at the Carson City Sheriff's Department for the investigation of battery by a prisoner-criminal gang. Bail was set at $5,000.

-- Vernon Smith, 47, of Gardnerville, a laborer, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. Friday in the 3300 block of Carson Street for the investigation of burglary, trespassing and destruction of property. Bail was set at $25,000.

-- Arthur Randall Boeing, 21, of Coleville, Calif., a cook, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. Friday at Fifth Street and Saliman Road for investigation of possession of methamphetamine and a warrant out of Carson City Municipal Court for contempt of court. Bail was set at $2,500.

-- Christopher John Delaney, 25, of Carson City, a laborer, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. Friday at Fifth and Curry streets for the investigation of assault with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $20,000.

-- Ronald P. Kleider, 45, a transient, was arrested at noon Friday on Brunswick Canyon Road for the investigation of robbery, burglary, assault with a deadly weapon and being an ex-felon who failed to change address. Bail was set at $62,500.

-- A 20-year-old Long Beach, Calif., woman was arrested at 5:13 a.m. Saturday at John and Carson streets for the investigation of driving with a suspended license and warrants out of Carson City Justice Court and Douglas County Justice Court for failure to appear. Bail was set at $7,730.

-- A 21-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 10:27 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of East Fifth Street for the investigation of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,105.

-- A 53-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 9:54 p.m. Friday at John and Carson streets for the investigation of first-offense driving under the influence, child endangerment and no headlights. Bail was set at $3,640.

-- A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 11:56 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road for the investigation of battery, threats and violation of a no-violence clause condition. Bail was set at $4,710.
