Sheriff's blotter

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty:

-- Michael Shane Smith, 31, a cement worker from Carson City, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. on South Carson Street for suspicion of felony parole violation. No bail was set.

-- A 46-year-old laborer from Carson City was taken into civil protective custody at 11:20 p.m. in the Highway 50 East.

-- A 31-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 5:20 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Slide Mountain for suspicion of misdemeanor failure to yield, driving on a suspended driver's license and no insurance. His bail was set at $1,390.

-- An 18-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 9:19 p.m. Saturday in the 3900 block of Gordon Street for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,105.

-- A 41-year-old unemployed transient taken into civil protective custody at 6 p.m. at Mills Park.

-- Krista Angelee Vinson, 26, unemployed from Temecula, Calif., was arrested at 8:15 a.m. Saturday in the 3400 block of North Carson Street for suspicion of felony robbery. Bail was set at $40,000.
