Carson High graduate Josh Nahm was named to the Carolinas-Virginia Athletic Conference team as an honorable mention choice in golf for St. Andrews College in Laurinburg, N.C.

Nahm, a junior, was St. Andrews' top finisher at the CVAC Tournament with a three-day score of 229 and a team-low 72 on the final day. Nahm also qualified for the NCAA Division II Atlantic/Southeast Super Regional.

"Josh worked very hard this year and I am so happy to see his work and perseverance pay off," St. Andrews Coach Brian McCants said. "The last month of the season, he could really be compared to anyone in our conference. He played extremely well."
