The following people were sentenced in District Court last week:

-- Andres Urbina Maldanado, 35, from Incline Village, pleaded guilty to felony leaving the scene of an accident and was sentenced to 24 to 120 months in prison in lieu of five years probation. He was also ordered to pay restitution of $5,442.

-- Thomas Joseph Cook, 39, from Carson City, pleaded guilty to felony possession of stolen property and uttering a forged instrument and was sentenced to 12 to 32 months in prison in lieu of five years probation. He was also ordered to pay restitution of $1,500 and reimburse $250 for public defender.

-- Timothy McCollister, 36, of Gardnerville, pleaded guilty to felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and was sentenced to 19 to 48 months in prison in lieu of five years probation.

-- David Ray Choate, 48, from Carson City, pleaded guilty to felony leaving the scene of an accident with injury and was sentenced to 26 to 120 days in jail, and a fine of $4,500.

-- Ernest Pitts Sudberry III, 29, from Buena Park, Calif., pleaded guilty to felony third-offense drunken driving and was sentenced to 12 to 30 months in prison and fined $2,000.
