Jarrod Bone pitched a four-hitter for the Carson Cardinals 18 and under baseball team in a 5-2 win over the Sparks Tribe on Monday in the final game of the Tribe Memorial Tournament.
Carl Winter went 2-for-4 with a home run and Matt Bowman doubled twice for the Cardinals, who play at 10 a.m. on Saturday in a doubleheader at Fallon. The Cardinals will also play Fernley at 10 a.m. Sunday in a doubleheader at the Carson High junior varsity field.
