Carson volleyball sweeps Spanish Springs

The Carson High volleyball team swept to a 15-10, 15-1, 15-3 win at Spanish Springs on Tuesday.

"We played O.K.," Carson coach Daryl James said. "We didn't focus as well as we could have."

Rachael DeRiemer led the way for Carson with nine kills and seven assists. Tabitha Adams had 17 assists. Also for Carson, Shannon Devereaux had five kills, Teri Niederer had three kills and three blocks, Kaitlin Brush had three kills and Nicole Scott added two kills.
