A funeral for Lyndsey William Rex, 14, a Fernley resident for the past two years and former Carson City resident, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fernley.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the funeral.
Lyndsey was a student in the eighth grade at Fernley Intermediate School. He enjoyed snowboarding, football and mountain bike racing.
Among his survivors are his mother Jenan Rex of Fernley; uncles and aunts Joseph and Janice Constantini of Florida and Robert and Kim Constantini of New Jersey and several cousins.
Burial will be in the Fernley Cemetery.
Smith Family Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
