Funeral services for Carson city resident Bea Rabe will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Rabe died April 3, 2003 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Dec. 8, 1917 in Spartanberg, S.C., to Randolph and Nora Anderson Ingram. She was 85.
She married Ernie Rabe 53 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Carson City Homemakers, the Carson City Quilters and was a volunteer at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed making quilts, entertaining and spending time with her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Jane Dineen in 2001.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; daughter and sons-in-law Hazel and Neal of Galt, Calif., and Noranne and Del Sparks of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and five grandchildren: Jason, Dawn and Andrew Davies and Damon and Amanda Sparks.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Walton's.
Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 901 Beverly Dr., Carson City, NV 89706.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
