Highway 28 is expected to remain closed until 11 a.m. after a truck accident spilled I-beams all over the highway.
The accident occurred at 4:04 a.m. about four miles north of the junction of Highway 50.
According to Trooper Pat McGill of the Nevada Highway Patrol, no one was injured in the accident.
The road was closed at the intersection of highways 50 and 28. Mt. Rose Highway was also closed briefly by an accident. However, McGill said the accident was cleared by 9:47 a.m.
