Sisters Julie and Kate Hardt, boht Carson High graduates, teamed to help Reno Aquatics to a 10th place finish in the 400-meter freestyle relay at the United States Swimming Championships on Thursday in College Park, Md.
Julie, who will be a senior at the University of Georgia, and Kate, who will be a sophomore at the University of Minnesota, teamed with Alyssa Chin and Kathryn Houston to take 10th in three minutes, 52.70 seconds. The team came into the event seeded 11th.
