Iris M. Morris, 68, a Gardnerville resident for the past 24 years, died Feb. 2, 2003, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born June 29, 1934, in Darlington, England, to Lawrence and Nellie Hackett Stockdale.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in San Rafael, Calif. She came to the United States in 1962, and worked at the World's Fair in New York City.
Mrs. Morris had worked for the Douglas County School District since 1982.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, Feb. 23, 1998; and brother, David Stockdale, in 1987.
Among her survivors is her daughter, Denise Dufrene, of Reno.
No service is scheduled.
