The local television talk show "Carson Crossfire" that aired twice a week in Washoe, Carson City, Douglas counties and South Lake Tahoe will be discontinued following Friday's appointment of co-host Shelly Aldean as Carson City supervisor.
"We've had a good run," she said. "It's probably time to close the doors."
Aldean and Karl Neathammer have co-hosted the show since early 1997.
The show included guests such as Gov. Kenny Guinn when he ws running for governor and Rep. John Ensign, R-Nev. The show covered local, regional and national issues.
