Sheriff's Blotter

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court.

-- Heather Elizabeth Vance, 29, of Carson City, no occupation noted, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of embezzlement. Vance allegedly took over $17,000 from her employers. Bail was set at $15,000.

-- Susan Harlan, 47, a Carson City house cleaner, was arrested at 4:57 a.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of Corbett Street on warrants out of Carson City Justice Court on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and being an ex-felon who failed to change address. She was also arrested on two warrants out of Carson City Justice Court for the investigation of felony failure to appear and non-sufficient funds. Bail was set at $5,000.

-- Three Carson City men, all age 21, were arrested at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of battery and trespassing. Bail was set at $1,105 each.

-- A Carson City cocktail waitress was arrested at 7:40 a.m. Thursday on suspicion of DUI, expired registration, no proof of insurance and speeding. Bail was set at $1,920.

-- A Carson City man was arrested at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday at Mills Park on suspicion of domestic battery.

-- One fraud report

-- Two reports of sexual offenses
