A memorial service for Joshua A. Coates, 24, a Dayton resident for the past eight years, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Coates died July 26, 2003, in Carson City. He was born Nov. 16, 1978, in Garden Grove, Calif., to Robert and Susan Stanton Coates.
He worked as a laborer in construction.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Among his survivors are his wife, Carrie Coates of Carson City; and mother Susan Coates and son, Matthew, both of Dayton.
