Rich Peterson of Carson City hit his ninth career ace on Monday. This time, it was on Eagle Valley Golf's East Course 17th hole. Using a 7-wood from the blue tee for a distance of 165 yards, the shot went straight for the pin, lit on the green, and rolled in. Bill Witt, "Doc" Scrivner, and Ken Charpilloz were witnesses.
