The following men were booked into the Carson City Jail. Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
-- Walter Robert Kayler, 50, of Carson City, was booked on suspicion of felony failure to register as a convicted sex-offender and felon in possession of a firearm. He already was in jail on suspicion of discharging a firearm after a three-hour standoff with police in which allegedly wanted to kill himself ended peacefully Tuesday afternoon. No bail was set.
-- Shiloh Richard, 22, a Bureau of Indian Affairs firefighter from Carson City, was arrested at 2:24 p.m. Tuesday on Rand Avenue on suspicion of gross misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,605.
