Ruth E. Wimberly, 91, a Carson City resident for the past 24 years, died May 12, 2003, at Mountain View Care Center.
Mrs. Wimberly was born Oct. 15, 1911, in Kansas to William and Dolly Todd Norman.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Spokane, Wash.
Mrs. Wimberly was preceded in death by her daughter Dolores Schiler.
Among her survivors are her husband, Don L. of Carson City; daughter Edith Frankson of Reno; sister, Lucille Way of Virginia; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
No service is scheduled.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
