Sparky's Sports Bar & Grill, Ming's Restaurant and Sierra Closet & Home Design will open in late December or early January at Carson Quail Business Park, a new development on 61Ú2 acres in South Carson City.
Cingular Wireless will join the businesses in March, and more announcements are pending, said Chad Gulden, leasing manager for the Reno-based Ribeiro Co.
"We've had an overwhelming response in the past few weeks. Things are moving quickly, but there's still space, " Gulden said. "Right now, about 30,000 square feet are available for retail, light industrial and offices."
Bordered by Carson, Curry and Rhodes streets, the complex includes six main buildings with 62,241 square feet of commercial space. The units range from 4,200 to 26,000 square feet.
Two large office/retail buildings will face Carson Street, and the complex will have five parking spaces per 1,000 square feet, Guldin said.
Ribeiro Co. is owner and contractor for the project. The development group specializes in commercial office and industrial complexes. The company has developed approximately 10 million square feet of commercial space in Las Vegas and Reno.
