Fish are averaging between 2 and 4 pounds each.

The largest fish weighed in at the Marina last week was on Saturday at 5-pounds, 12-ounces. It was caught while trolling a nightcrawler behind a flasher.

Shore fishing as also been excellent from the Marina Jetty this past week.

I troll 250-550 feet deep in the deep-water area in front of Carnelian Bay and King's Beach.

We are using silver, Herring Dodger flasher blades with live minnows or large Apex lures."

Tubing with flies is doing well also. Black woolly worms, egg-sucking leeches and dries are the choices.

Upper Twin Lake: Annett's Mono Village (760-932-7071) reported the browns are moving up.

A 5.75 pound brown on a trolled, brown woolly bugger fly, a 5-pound, 5-ounce brown on orange Power Bait, a 5-pound, 4-ounce brown on green salmon eggs and a 4-pound, 4-ounce brown on rainbow Power Bait.
