Betty June Famas, 75, died Oct. 13, 2003, at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington. She was born June 14, 1927, in Ukiah, Calif., to Ervin and Anna Peters Allen.
She married Dan S. Famas in Reno on Sept. 18, 1948.
Among her survivors are her husband of 55 years of Yerington; daughter, Diane Trough of Bellingham, Wash.; and sisters and brothers-in-law Martha and John Collins of Yerington, Raymond and Lucy Famas of Arizona and Anita Heuboch of Arizona.
At her request, no service will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lyon County Animal Shelter.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home of Yerington is in charge of arrangements.
