n Completing Carson City Freeway to Fairview Drive

n Work to see the operation of the V&T Railroad between U.S. Highway 50 and Virginia City.

n Complete a business plan for the storm-water drainage project.

n Pursue a federal lands bill to pursue use of lands in and around Carson City's 147 square miles for industrial, business and residential growth.

n Business expansion, regional quality of life growth.

n Build a new Sheriff's Department administration facility.

How much is it worth?

n Mayor - annual salary $32,828

n First-term supervisors Shelly Aldean and Richard Staub - annual salary of $22,797

n Second-term supervisors Robin Williamson and Pete Livermore - annual salary of $25,077

Elected officials are offered enrollment in state retirement system and medical, dental and vision benefits.

Elections

n With multiple candidates running for the same office, if one wins the majority of votes in the primary election, they automatically win the seat and their name appears on general election ballot alone, according to the Carson City Charter.

n If an unopposed candidate receives one or more votes during the primary election, he must be declared a winner and is not placed on the general election ballot.

n Dates for filing for office - May 3-14
