The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12:43 a.m. Wednesday at Corbett and Carson streets on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving and open container of alcohol in vehicle. Bail was set at $2,812.


• Kellee Jenkins, 25, an unemployed transient, was charged with battery on a police officer and battery by a prisoner Wednesday after she allegedly threw a microphone following a video arraignment on charges of burglary. Bail on the new charges is $5,000.


• Marcus Miller, 30, a cook from Carson City, was arrested at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday on a felony fugitive from justice warrant out of Sacramento. No bail was set.


• Sariah Noel Wood, 24, a certified nursing assistant from Carson City, was arrested at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument. Bail was set at $10,000.


-- Deputies responded to the following calls:


• An employee took a company truck from the Nevada Department of Transportation Sunday and still hadn't returned it by Wednesday.


• Police recovered computers and printers possibly used for making checks during a welfare check at a South Carson Street motel room Thursday at 2:12 a.m. One man was arrested on a warrant.
