Leck, Huskies eliminated

Kaitlin Leck's career came to an end on Thursday in the NCAA Volleyball Tournament Final Four.

Leck, a 2001 Carson High graduate, and the University of Washington were beaten by Stanford 25-30, 30-23, 27-30, 24-30 in a national semifinal match in Long Beach. Leck, a senior left-handed right side hitter, had 11 kills and six blocks for the Huskies.

Fallon's Jennifer Hucke had a double double with 11 kills and 10 blocks for Stanford, who advanced to Saturday's championship match.
