A family gathering for Raymon Milton Owen, 65, a Carson City resident for the past 16 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Mr. Owen died July 28, 2004, at Washoe Medical Center. He was born May 7, 1939, in Tulare, Calif., to Barnett and Elva Owen.
He married Mary Anne Vazzano July 3, 1959, in Las Vegas. She preceded him in death.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Westminster, Calif.
Mr. Owen enjoyed hot rods, classic rock 'n' roll, camping and fishing.
Among his survivors are his son, Daniel Ray of Carson City; daughters Deanna Mae Bartlett of Corona, Calif., Virginia Anne Owen and Christine Lee Owen, both of Reno, and Cheryl Anne Owen of Springfield, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Inurnment will be at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.
