Christine Batis-Bram, 66, a Carson City resident for the past 17 years, died June 24, 2004, at Evergreen Mountain View Care Center. She was born April 16, 1938, in San Francisco to George and Laura Brown Batis.

She graduated from Balboa High School in San Francisco.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in San Francisco.

She married George Bram in 1990. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bram was a homemaker. She enjoyed time with her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Toastmasters of Carson City, and she was a Protestant.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Henry Batis, George Batis and Eugene Batis, all of Carson City.

Among her survivors are her sister-in-law, Arlene Batis; nieces Donna Batis-Wungnema of Carson City, Susan Springob of Arlington, Texas, and Denise and Eleni Loudaros of Roseville, Calif.; and nephews Jason Batis and Adam Wungnema of Carson City.

At her request, no service will be held.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
