Lassen women's soccer wins again

The Lassen College women's soccer team continued to roll with a 10-0 win over Shasta on Saturday.

Among the local players who have key roles for Lassen are Douglas High graduates Brit Christen, Jenny Jaggard and Molly Hernandez. Lassen (17-1-1) is still ranked No. 3 in the nation.

Lassen hopes to receive at least a top four seed for the Northern California playoffs, which would guarantee it home field advantage for at least the first two games of the playoffs. Lassen's first playoff game will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 16 at home in Susanville, Calif.

KGVM 99.1 FM and 93.5FM will broadcast the Douglas Tigers vs. Manogue Miners playoff football game this Friday from Keith Roman Field. The game/broadcast will start at 7 p.m. with Skip Sayer calling the play-by-play.
