Edith Tommie Daniel, 102, a Carson City resident for the past 31 years, died Sept. 20, 2004, in Carson City. She was born March 26, 1902, in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada, to William and Sarah Jane Wesenburg Crawford.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Los Angeles and Orange County, Calif., from 1919 to 1973.

Mrs. Daniel owned and operated a women's dress shop for more than 25 years. She enjoyed sewing and was a world traveler.

She was preceded in death by brothers Benjamin, Clinton and William and sister, Vera.

Among her survivors are her nephews and their wives Ramon and Louise Crawford, Jerrold and Mary Crawford and Ronald and Jerri Crawford; niece and husband, Janet and Bryan Bock; nine great-nieces and nephews and eight great-great nieces and nephews.

At her request, no service will be held.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
