The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 37-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 2:17 a.m. Friday on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving, reckless driving, driving on a suspended license, no insurance, obstructing an officer and violation of bail conditions. No bail was set.


• Michael Eugene Santi, 30, a laborer, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. Thursday on suspicion of felony failure to appear and violation of probation. No bail was set.


n Deputies responded to the following calls:


• Deputies were asked to check on an elderly woman on Palo Verde because there were three days worth of newspapers in the yard. When deputies entered at 9:43 a.m. Thursday they found the woman barely conscious on the floor.


• A woman reported Thursday an unknown man keeps leaving messages and presents for her at her work.
