The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 41-year-old certified nursing assistant from Carson City was arrested at her home in the 4000 block of Gordon Street at 2:45 a.m. on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


• A 55-year-old Reno man was taken into civil protective custody because he was intoxicated at 7:51p.m. Wednesday in the 3800 block of Highway 50 East.


• A 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Kennedy Court on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


n Deputies responded to the following calls:


• An estranged wife, three months pregnant, found her husband Thursday morning with another woman at a Carson Street motel. The wife claims the husband choked her; the husband claims the wife broke into the room to assault the other woman, and he shut the door on her. Both sides called police. A report was taken.


• A woman claimed someone tried to steal her purse as she left a Carson Street casino Thursday at 10 a.m.


• A 1996 Black Dodge Avenger was stolen Thursday at 6:55 a.m. from the 3300 block of North Roop Street when a man left his car to warm up while he went inside his house to collect his daughter.
