Georgina M. Hennessey, 69, a Gardnerville resident for the past two years, died Jan. 20, 2005, in Gardnerville.
She was born June 9, 1935, in Seattle, to Albert and Helen Cheeseworth.
She married Curtis Hennessey Sept. 12, 1953, in Seattle.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Reno for 20 years.
Mrs. Hennessey was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and a former member of Jobs Daughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Among her survivors are her husband and daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dave Zemaitis, all of Gardnerville; son, Curt and Dianna of Minden; sister, Helen Sears of Oregon and five grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
A private memorial service will be held.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
