A service for Linda Margaret Green, 61, a Carson City resident for the past three years, will be at 11 a.m. July 16 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Mrs. Green died July 1, 2005, at Carson Convalescent Center. She was born June 10, 1944, in Norfolk, Va., to Fredrick John II and Dorothy Legere.
She married Lesley A. Green on April 11, 1970, in Albuquerque, N.M.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Stateline for 32 years.
Mrs. Green carried change and was a cashier for Harvey's. She enjoyed her family. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community.
She was preceded in death by her mother on June 7, 2005, in Carson City and her father in March 1986 in New Mexico.
Among her survivors are her husband and children Lesley A. Green Jr. and Bobby J. Green, all of Carson City; brother-in-law and wife, Jerry and Anna Green of Atwater, Calif.; sister-in-law, Delores Nunes of Fresno, Calif.; brother, Fred Legere III, of Reno; one grandson and numerous extended family members.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Hospice.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
