A funeral for Rema John, 89, a lifetime Woodfords, Calif., resident, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home.
Viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley.
Ms. John died March 27, 2005, in Gardnerville.
She was born April 15, 1917, in Woodfords to Cesar and Wally John.
She was a basket maker.
She was preceded in death by her sister Fern; and brothers Myles, Archie, Burt and Lester.
Among her survivors are her sister Marada Wade of Markleeville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at the Woodfords Cemetery.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
