Kenneth Lee Crossman, 75, a Carson City resident for the past year, died May 3, 2005, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Jan. 25, 1930, in Ontario, Calif., to Ross and Esther Larsen Crossman.

He married JoAnn Schanz.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Cool, Calif.

Mr. Crossman was a meat cutter in California for many years. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Bonsai Club. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

He served in the National Guard during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by a son, Curtis.

Among his survivors are his wife of Stagecoach; daughters Jeannie MacDonald of Menifee, Calif., and Connie Shively of Riverside, Calif.; sister, Claudia Churne of Minden; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
