A memorial service for Alfred F. Judd, 65, a lifetime Gardnerville resident, will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Valley Christian Fellowship Church in Gardnerville.

Mr. Judd died Dec. 18, 2006, at his home.

He was born April 18, 1941, in Gardnerville to Frank Judd and Olga May.

He was a high school graduate and an assembler at Bently Nevada.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of the Valley Christian Fellowship Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Carol May Judd, in November 1998 in Carson City.

Among his survivors are his daughter, Melodi Mitchell of Spokane, Wash.; sons Michael Judd of Spokane, John Judd of Sacramento, Randy Field of Stockton, Calif., and Rick Field of San Jose, Calif.; sisters Carol Harris of Blanding, Utah, and Ilene Judd of Reno; and nine grandchildren.

Burial will take place at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.

FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
