A memorial Mass for Jeffrey B. Choquette, 66, a nine-year resident of Minden, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 3433 Somerset Ave., Castro Valley, Calif.

Mr. Choquette died Jan. 27, 2006, in Carson City.

He was born April 29, 1939, in Culver City, Calif., to Leon and Genevieve Choquette.

He married Susan on Dec. 31, 1997, in Minden.

Prior to moving to Minden, he lived in San Ramon, Calif.

He was the former owner of Wirth International in Hayward, Calif. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Kimberly Choquette and brother Robert Wirth.

Among his survivors are his wife of Minden; sons Steven and Derek Choquette of California; daughter Becky Crowther of California; one brother and three sisters, all of West Virginia; and six grandchildren.

Cremation took place at Walton's Sierra Crematory in Carson City.
