A somewhat reduced contingent of Carson Country Outlaw Kart racers traveled over the hill for the final time to contest the season finale for the Red Bluff Winter Series on Saturday.

The highlight of the evening was the performance of Box Stock ace Kellcy Bell in her final appearance in the division. Bell took the championship in style, winning both the A main and her heat race after qualifying third and running third in the trophy dash.

All three Carson karters on hand made the A main, with Tanner Thorson finishing ninth and Mason Millard 11th. Thorson raced into the A main, finishing first in the B main after taking seventh in his heat race and qualifying ninth. Millard transferred with a fourth-place heat race finish, and took ninth in the A main with an 11th place qualifying run.

The final season point standings found Bell in first place, Thorson fifth, Millard 10th, Zachary Heinz 14th, and Keith Combs 22nd.

Cameron Millard was the only Carson racer in the Intermediate (125-250cc) division, qualifying 22nd, taking fifth in his heat, and finishing the evening eighth in the B main. Millard was 15th in season points.

Millard also made his second start in the Open Intermediate division, this time substituting for Chelsey Gamble. All three Carson karters in the division qualified within less than two-hundredths of a second apart; Mackena Bell was 14th, Daniel Thorson 15th, and Millard 16th.

Bell took second in her heat and sixth in the A main while Thorson finished 13th in the B main after taking fourth in his heat race. Millard took sixth in his heat and eighth in the B main. Thorson ended up 13th in the final point standings, with Bell two places behind in 15th.

In the Open division, only Chris Rytting and Dave Sciarroni were on hand to represent northern Nevada, with Rytting posting a 35th place starting position and Sciarroni in 40th. Both ended their night with the D main; Rytting finished eighth and Sciarroni 11th.

Sciarroni scored one spot better, in seventh, in his heat race and Rytting took a heat race eighth. Rytting finished the season 24th in points, with Troy Combs in 34th and Christian Steele in 39th.

No Beginner Box division statistics were available at press time.
