The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Richard Dale Mendoza, 36, of Carson City, was arrested at 11:51 p.m. Thursday at Long and Carson streets on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $4,364.


• Jose May Hernandez, 38, of Carson City, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Thursday at Walsh and Musser streets on suspicion of a gross misdemeanor warrant for indecent exposure. Bail was set at $5,000.


• A 35-year-old painter from Carson City was arrested at 9:01 p.m. Thursday at Edmonds and Stanton drives on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence second offense, no proof of insurance, failure to maintain a single travel lane and speeding. Bail was set at $3,474.


• A 40-year-old merchandiser from Carson City was arrested at 5:58 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Mark Way on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $397 cash.


• A 40-year-old microscope technician from Gardnerville was arrested at 3:45 p.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of open alcohol in public and a drunk pedestrian. Bail was set at $294 cash.


• A 30-year-old homemaker from Gardnerville was arrested at 12:14 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of North Stewart Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,014.


The following are some of the 189 calls to which deputies responded:


• A domestic dispute in the 1700 block of Brown Street at 11:24 a.m. Thursday.


• A report of commercial burglary in the 1200 block of South Stewart Street at 8:43 a.m. Thursday.


Lyon County


The following are some of the 122 calls to which deputies responded:


• A drunk driver at Fort Churchill Road and Lahontan Avenue in Silver Springs at 1:35 a.m. Thursday.


• A vehicle burglary in the 3600 block of Citrus Street in Silver Springs at 8:10 a.m. Thursday.


• A vandalism complaint in the 4100 block of Highway 50A in Fernley at 10:13 a.m. Thursday.


• A hit-and-run accident at Snafu and Blackhawk roads in Stagecoach at 4:15 p.m. Thursday.


• Destruction of property in the 100 block of Goldfield Avenue in Yerington at 6:07 p.m. Thursday.


• A domestic dispute in the 2500 block of Rawhide Road in Silver Springs at 7:03 p.m. Thursday.


Storey County


The following are some of the 14 calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of a car blocking access to a new apartment complex being built on State Route 342 in Gold Hill at 9:16 am. Thursday.


• A traffic stop in the 400 block of Canyon Way in Lockwood at 5:28 p.m. Thursday.


• A woman reported hearing steps on her roof and believed someone was inside her house in the 21000 block of Adobe Road in the Virginia City Highlands at 6:07 p.m. Thursday.
