The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Timothy Latham, 42, of Carson City, was arrested at 10:37 p.m. Saturday at Century Drive and Sherman Lane on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon. Latham allegedly attacked another man with a beer bottle outside of a convenience store, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $30,000. A 27-year-old man from Carson City was also arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $1,000.


• A 33-year-old Lemmon Valley man was arrested at 2:38 a.m. Sunday at College Parkway and Challenger Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, speeding, failure to maintain a single travel lane and an expired driver's license. Bail was set at $1,508.


• James Howard Kepler, 22, of Carson City, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Stewart Street on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property. According to the arrest report, Kepler was attempting to sell a stolen .22-caliber rifle. Bail was set at $25,000.


• Sarah Dent, 19, of Carson City, was arrested at 6:50 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Stewart Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $3,132.


• A 60-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 8:49 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $3,000 cash.


• A 20-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 11:15 p.m. Saturday in the 3900 block of Pheasant Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol and an outstanding warrant. Bail was set at $737.


• A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 10:02 p.m. Saturday at Saliman Road and Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and no driver's license. Bail was set at $1,319.


• An 18-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Airport Road and Carmine Street on suspicion of a misdemeanor warrant for threatening or obscene phone calls. Bail was set at $1,270.


• A 22-year-old customer-service representative from Carson City was arrested at 7:57 a.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,000 cash.


• Richard Allen Lugone, 45, a transient, was arrested at 11:09 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and a felony warrant. Bail was set at $7,500.


• Glenn Hughes Wiseman, 55, of Carson City, was arrested at 12:14 p.m. Saturday at Valley and Telegraph streets on suspicion of a felony warrant. Bail was set at $1,500.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 97 calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of a drunken driver at Highway 95A and Oregon Street in Yerington at 12:59 a.m. Saturday.


• A domestic dispute in the 800 block of Brandy Court in Mark Twain at 9:38 a.m. Saturday.


• A motor vehicle accident involving property damage on Elm Street in Silver Springs at 12:14 p.m. Saturday.


• A report of a commercial burglary in the 400 block of East Main Street in Fernley at 12:39 p.m. Saturday.


• A report of fraudulent activity on Pyrite Drive in Mound House at 3:04 p.m. Saturday.


• A drunken driver at Highway 95A and Green Acres in Mason Valley at 6:34 p.m. Saturday.




Storey County


The following are some of the 22 calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of two dirt bikes being driven in Mark Twain Park at 11:44 a.m. Saturday.


• A traffic accident on Interstate 80 Westbound east of Lockwood at 1:55 p.m. Saturday.


• A report of an intoxicated women screaming for help in the 300 block of North C Street in Virginia City at 10:15 p.m. Saturday.
