• Rich Bachle of Fernley had to be slyly reminded by Don Quilici of Carson City that his chances of catching a fish at Pyramid Lake, last week would dramatically improve if his lure was in the water, rather than dangling just above the water, while trolling.

• Norm (Normie) Budden of Carson City is planning a trip this weekend to the Sacramento area to scout for a new or used pontoon boat (20-24 feet). If you know of any in that area, give him a call at 884-0348.

• Bob "Slick" McCulloch of Carson City could not go ice fishing at Wildhorse Reservoir last weekend with his regular ice fishing partners. His wife, Lynda, wanted him to go on a vacation trip to Cabo, Mexico. He is now working on his tan rather than avoiding frost bite.

• Bob Schroeder of Carson City has reverted back to his old habits, while spincasting in his brand new chest waders at Walker Lake. Last week, he got skunked...again. Hmmm, he might be in the market to buy fish, if you're interested in making some easy cash.
