Delores 'Dee' Schroeder

A memorial service for Delores "Dee" Schroeder, 70, a 31-year Carson City resident, will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Schroeder died Jan. 18, 2006, in Carson City. She was born Jan. 6, 1936, in Fresno, Calif., to Samuel Royal and Florence Harrison.

Before moving to Carson City she lived in Reno.

She retired from J.C. Penney in 1983, where she was a personnel supervisor. She was a member of the USBC Bowling Congress.

She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Schroeder; and brothers Roy and Floyd Harrison.

Among her survivors are daughter and son-in-law Jacqueline and Scott Hann of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law David and Linda Benner of Reno; son Robert Bryan of Oroville, Calif.; brother Wayne Harrison of Cambria, Calif.; sister Alice Trigg of Sparks; seven grandchildren and many extended family members.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
