A memorial service for Clayton Darrel Jiles, 70, a 28-year Carson City resident, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at 4040 Apollo Dr. in Carson City.

Mr. Jiles died June 12, 2006, at his home.

He was born Jan. 19, 1936, in Orange, Calif., to Gifford and Luella Jiles.

He married Sandra Pugh on July 2, 1954, in Orange.

He attended Orange High School's carpenter's program. He was a carpenter.

He belonged to the Carpenter's Local 971, and was a lifetime member of the Orange County Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed visiting Cactus Jacks.

He was preceded in death by brother Stanley Jiles and son Mike Jiles.

Among his survivors are his wife of 52 years of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law Bob and Deb Jiles of Medford, Ore.; daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Sam Arevalo of Dayton; brother and sister-in-law Wesley and Naomi Jiles of Kingman, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous extended-family members.

Burial will take place at the Dayton Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice, 520 W. Sixth St., Reno, NV 89503.

Washoe Memorial Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
