The Miss Carson City and Miss Douglas County scholarship programs were Sunday at Caesars Tahoe Showroom. Although the pageants were held together, two women were crowned.
Hana Freeman, 19, of the University of Nevada, Reno, was crowned Miss Carson City, Julia Sourikoff, 18, of Douglas High School, was crowned Miss Douglas County.
The other contestants for the Miss Carson City competition were Brittany Waltz, 17, of Carson High School; Cassie Bowman, 18, of Carson High School; and Tiffany Halen, 18, of Carson High School.
The other contestants for the Miss Douglas County competition were Brooke Berston, 17; Elise Small, 17; and Leah May, 18, all of Douglas High School.
