A Carson City man was in custody Wednesday, suspected of being involved in a commercial burglary earlier in the week.

Luis Meza, 25, was taken into custody in the 900 block of East Fifth Street about 6:30 p.m. after police received word he may have been inside an apartment there and armed with two guns stolen from a Goni Road business Monday, said Lt. Ken Sandage.

While the Carson City SWAT team was preparing to make entry into the apartment armed with a search warrant, Meza exited and was arrested without incident.

SWAT members entered and found no one else inside, Sandage said.
