The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Alfred Soto, 36, of Las Vegas, was arrested at 8:34 a.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony escape. No bail was set.

• A 25-year-old sales representative from Carson City was arrested at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday at Airport Road and Nye Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,123.

• A 24-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 5:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of bail conditions. Bail was set at $3,000 cash.

• A 42-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 1:04 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of East Hampton Drive on suspicion of a misdemeanor warrant for insufficient funds. Bail was set at $350.

• Jason Joseph Takahashi, 26, of Carson City, was arrested at 10:08 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of felony fugitive from justice and misdemeanor petit larceny. No bail was set.

• A 22-year-old machinist from Carson City was arrested at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $732.

• A 23-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of failure to appear on a traffic matter. Bail was set at $1,006 cash.

• A 19-year-old unemployed Carson City resident was arrested at 1:38 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Koontz Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic matter. Bail was set at $1,464 cash.

The following are some of the 228 calls to which deputies responded:

• A report of shots fired in the area of Long and Rand streets over the weekend.

• A fight involving a firearm at Fifth and Roop streets at 2:38 a.m. Wednesday.

• A report of credit cards being taken from a residence at Lindsay Lane and Slide Mountain Drive at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Lyon County

The following are some of the 99 calls to which deputies responded:

• A report of a domestic dispute involving a stalking order taken at the Fernley Substation at 1:57 p.m. Tuesday.

• A domestic dispute on Hematite Drive in Mound House at 7:39 p.m. Tuesday.

• A drunk driver on Farm District Road in Fernley at 11:17 p.m. Tuesday.

Storey County

The following are some of the 24 calls to which deputies responded:

• A report of a broken window on a vehicle in the 200 block of Rue De La Chartreuse in Lockwood at 8:55 a.m. Tuesday.

• A report of a man shooting a gun in the 2100 block of Diablo Road in the Virginia City Highlands at 7:13 p.m. Tuesday.
