The Ormsby Sportsmen's Association (OSA) of Carson City, a local organization for hunting and fishing enthusiasts, will hold the last of a series of four monthly, summer picnics on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 19.
Those picnics are held at Mills Park on the third Tuesday of the month during the months of June, July, August and September.
All of the picnics begin at about 5:30-6:00 p.m., last until dark, and feature main entrees of barbecued steak, hamburgers and hotdogs.
Anyone attending is requested to bring a pot-luck salad or dessert to share with others.
In October, the sportsmen's club will revert back to monthly indoor meetings at the Carson Nugget Convention Center. Those meetings are the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
