Florence "Maggie" Watson, 84, a Dayton resident since 2001, died March 28, 2007.
Mrs. Watson was born June 22, 1922, in Buhl, Idaho, to Elmore A. and Esther T. Aker.
She attended schools in Jarbidge and served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-46.
She married James A. Watson on Oct. 19, 1946, in Reno.
Before moving to Dayton, she had lived in Fort Klamath, Ore., and several other locations throughout the Western United States.
She enjoyed knitting, quilting and other types of handwork.
Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law Beverly and Imants David of Tahoe City; sisters Opal Zumwalt of Dayton and Bettie Vohs of Queen Valley, Ariz.; four nieces and four nephews.
