• Assembly Ways and Means hears eight bills: AB251 makes an appropriation to the Community College of Southern Nevada for the construction of and furniture, fixtures and equipment for the Southern Desert Regional Police Academy. AB308 makes an appropriation to the Department of Health and Human Services to extend "Nevada 2-1-1" service to 7 days per week. AB327 makes an appropriation to the Department of Health and Human Services to extend "Nevada 2-1-1" service to 7 days per week. AB346 makes an appropriation to the Division of Emergency Management of the Department of Public Safety for the operation of a Terrorism Early Warning Fusion Center in Clark County. SB444 makes a supplemental appropriation to the Governor' Office for terminal leave and other costs. • Assembly Commerce and Labor holds hearings on eight bills: AB329 requires adoption of regulations concerning nontraditional mortgage loans and lending practices. AB332 makes various changes concerning loans secured by liens on real property. AB375 revises certain provisions governing mortgages. AB440 makes various changes concerning loans secured by a mortgage or other lien on residential real property. AB496 makes various changes concerning workers compensation. AB524 requires an electric utility to increase the reliability of its electric service. AB560 establishes requirements concerning agreements between debtors and third parties for assistance in the recovery of certain proceeds of a foreclosure sale. • Assembly Health and Human Services hears three bills: AB187 provides for regulation of certified medication aides. AB458 makes various changes concerning health-care facilities that employ nurses. • Senate Human Resources and Education hears seven bills: SB59 makes various changes relating to the State Plan for Medicaid. SB314 requires the provision of information concerning services that are provided at certain residential facilities for older persons. SB327 requires the Director of the Department of Health and Human Services to publish on a Web site certain information relating to health care. SB355 creates an Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. SB529 revises certain provisions relating to Medicaid. SB533 makes various changes relating to county hospitals.
